Hello everyone, my name is Almond but you can also call me Opus, and I'm a Sergal!
I spend most of my time working, but I love to draw. I use both traditional methods as well as digital.
I hope you enjoy my art work, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. :3

Tell us a little bit about yourself: What got you interested in art? Have you taken any art classes?
I've always been interested in art, really. Ever since I was young. I guess it started with my father who used to draw DC/Marvel like things all the time
And as far as classes go, the only ones I've taken have been the general art classes in school. Nothing fancy. I'm mostly self-taught.
What is your preferred medium and why?
Traditional using a mechanical pencil. Really it just feels good in my hands, and I know it doesn't always give the best results, but I try my best. :3
Do you have a favorite artist? If yes, what draws you to that person’s work?
I would have to say my all time favorite artist would have to be :icongoldenwolf: . She's what got me into drawing furries more than anyone else.
What draws me to her is the absolute beauty she imbues into her work, every piece of fur is visible, and it's all done by hand. The details I guess.
Can you remember one of the first things you drew/sculpted/painted/photographed etc.? What makes it memorable?
One of the earliest things I can remember drawing was a picture of Freiza from Dragon Ball Z in his second form.
What makes it so memorable is that I sold it to a guy in my school for $5 haha...
Where do you gather most of the inspiration for your works?
Looking at artwork my friends do, current events, personal experiences, little things that come to mind.
Have you ever stepped out of your comfort zone and discovered a whole new genre of art? How did it turn out?
I did actually. That's how I discovered a lot of fetish art within the fandom.
Some of it I liked, some of it I didn't, and I discovered new things I myself like or would like to try.
Do you have any other interesting hobbies or maybe a fun story about an experience involving your artwork?
Well other than drawing I like to build computers and play video games, listen to music, go for drives.
General people things I guess.
What, in your opinion, is the hardest step in creating a masterpiece?
Getting the initial sketch down just right, poses and facial expressions.
Such like that. Definitely what I fret the most over.
What kind of music do you listen to?
I'm literally driven by music.
For the most part I listen to Metal and all of it's sub genres, Rock and all of it's sub genres, Trance, and Dubstep.
A couple bands and artists I enjoy are Twenty-One Pilots, Blue October, Brand New, Gwar, Amon Amarth, Traitors,
Blind Guardian, King Diamond, Dodge & Fuski, Gate Guardians, and Primus.
When you do digital art, what programs and peripherals do you use?
I had been using GIMP for a long time, coupled with my Wacom Intuos II.
Recently however I acquired SAI and am slowly learning that.
How long have you been involved with the Furry Fandom?
I've been part of the fandom since about 2001, and I've stuck with it through ups and downs.
I've seen my fair share of drama, even caused some both intentionally and unintentionally.
Shit happens though, can't concern yourself with the opinions of sheep if you're going to be a wolf.
I've made a handful of great and close friends within the fandom that have seen me through a lot and still stand with me today.
I'm more than grateful for them.
Are you a gamer at all?
Oh definitely, but my favorite type of game isn't something you sit in front of a TV to play.
I LOVE Tabletop RPGs such as Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Savage Worlds. I do still enjoy video games though.
I'm a huge MechWarrior, StarCraft, World of Warcraft, Grand Theft Auto, and Halo fan.
Some of my favorite quotes:
''Oh, oh, I'm falling, so I'm taking my time on my ride, I've been thinking too much, help me''
''I'm evil to the core, What I shouldn't do I will, They say I'm emotional, What I wanna save I'll kill''
''You take a mortal man, And put him in control, Watch him become a god, Watch peoples heads a'roll''
''Thinking is what's killing you''
''There is no such thing as a genius, if they do not have a hint of madness''
''Ignorance isn't bliss, it's damnation''
''The dust has finally settled on the field of Human Clay, Just enough light has shown through To tell the night from the day , We are incomplete and hollow For our maker has gone away''
''When I hit the scene it's like ''murder murder murder, kill kill kill!''''
''Metaphorically, I'm the man But literally, I don't know what I'd do''
