During the month of June, many catholic saints are celebrated. In Brazil, it became a month full of festivals called Festa Junina. I personally like it more than carnival (although I'm don't like social events in general) cause instead of drunk people dancing, the festivals have good food, booze, a fire and people dressed in their most worn clothes to look like a traditional small farmer from the coutryside ("caipira", from Old Tupi "kopira", to plow).
In this piece I drew myself wearing an open shirt, as I usually do when I have to wear something at all, and Lino, a friend of mine, eating some corn.
