I've been meaning to draw Momodriller's katydid character for a while now! Anyway, this character (Kid, I think?) is one of the stars of Bug Pond, a comic about a bunch of wacky insects. Here's the link for those interested:

I drew this from memory, so the character's not perfectly in sync with Momo's version. I didn't want her style to rub off too much on me when I did this, if that makes sense. Also, you'll notice that I used the scratchy outline Nintendo tried with some of its GameCube sports games. I was originally going to give her normal thick outlines, but what the heck, it can't hurt to experiment!
EDIT: Looking at the original design, I realized she needed antennae. So... fixed!
