So, some friends of mine and I were discussing the newest starter Pokemon, and one of them brought up a good point... most evolved Pokemon don't really look that much like their juvenile forms. What if Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokemon, doesn't remain an owl, but becomes something entirely different? The "grass quill" designation got me thinking that he could actually become another raptor, the stork-like secretarybird. Think about it, folks... it's got a head full of long, quill-like feathers, and I don't think the species has been represented in Pokemon yet.

Maybe nothing will come of my speculation, but if the final evolution of Rowlet ends up looking like this, just remember that you heard it here first.

(Removed the white haze, because I wasn't digging it.)
