Even after all their adventures together, and all the dangers they've faced side by side, Niamh still dreads those times when Ciara must gird herself for war. Viridis is far more peaceful today than it has ever been, but that doesn't mean that there aren't still plenty of troubles to be found. Since taking the throne only a short while ago, Ciara has already had to face down everything from bandits to invading armies, and they both know there's plenty of trouble ahead. Most of the time, Niamh is able to put up a brave front and be the supportive wife and partner Ciara needs in these difficult times. Every now and then, though, it all gets to be too much and she needs some reassurance. For her part, Ciara does her best to calm Niamh's fears and dry her tears. She doesn't like the fighting any more than Niamh does, but having a loving wife to come home to only strengthens her resolve to protect her home and her people even more.
